Co-founder Will Richardson, from Flemington, New Jersey, is an internationally recognized speaker and author on educational technology with over 25 years of experience teaching and leading in schools. Currently in the throes of parenting two teenagers (Tess, 15 and Tucker, 13) , his articles and essays on education and parenting have appeared in numerous journals and magazines such as Ed Leadership, New York TImes, Education Week, Edutopia and English Journal. He is the author of four books, most recently Why School? How Education Must Change When Information and Learning Are Everywhere published by TED Books (September 2012,) and he has been a blogger for over a decade, currently at willrichardson.com.
Co-founder Bruce Dixon, from Melbourne, Australia, has worked with educators around the globe, and was in part responsible for developing the first 1:1 laptop programs in Australia and the U.S. through the Anytime Anywhere Learning initiative. He consults with school districts, education departments, and ministries of education as well as technology companies such as Microsoft, HP-Compaq, Apple, Bertelsmann and Toshiba on 1:1 teaching and technology in education. Over the past three years, Bruce has consulted in Australia, the US, Canada, Germany, UK and New Zealand, and has been invited to speak at conferences in Australia, Asia, South Africa, the United Kingdom and North America. Bruce is also director of IdeasLab in Melbourne, Australia. He has three grown daughters.
